PRESS-IN - COLD INSERTS

GRIPSERT is an expansion insert providing a self-locking action on the screw.

Designed for molded or drilled holes in thermoset material. When installed, the Gripsert collapses at the slots allowing the screw as it is installed to spread open and embed the diamond knurls in the wall of the material. Once the screw is installed, the Gripsert is permanently embedded in the hole.

The inward forces on the mating screw exerted from the insert body during installation create a natural self-locking thread. May be ordered with or without head and reverse slot.
